Beautiful Airports Project (BAT)
Before & After Terminal A, Level 2, Curb
BACKGROUND
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority is focused on four foundational pillars: Customer Experience, Community, Infrastructure, and People—each reflecting GOAA’s strong commitment to safety and security for our guests, staff, airport employees, and stakeholders.
To complement the pillars, GOAA has established the Beautiful Airports
Team (BAT) initiative. The program comprises a team of employees who identify projects throughout both Orlando International and Orlando Executive airports for beautification.
PROGRAM COST: $40 Million (FY 2026)

Before & After Garage B, Planters
On March 18, 2026, the GOAA Board approved the Beautiful Airports Team (BAT) campus-wide safety & beautification program (the "BAT Program").
As MCO and ORL continue to experience significant growth, it is essential that our facilities reflect the high standards expected by our passengers, employees, and community. This initiative is intended to elevate safety, visual quality, guest experience, asset preservation, and the overall environment at MCO and ORL.
These efforts will focus on enhancing the look and feel of the terminals, roadways, signage, landscaping, and public-facing areas, while also addressing safety improvements.
The BAT project is a signature goal to ensure the airport consistently prioritizes safety while presenting a visually exceptional, opening-day-fresh environment.
BAT members survey the terminals for improvements.
