International Connections - Terminal C

Step 1: Baggage Claim and Customs
After exiting the aircraft:

Proceed directly to Baggage Claim to the Customs & Immigration area.

Collect all checked bags, including oversize items

Check the oversize door for large or special items.
- NOTE: SmarteCartes are available inside Customs for a fee. You may keep this carte with you once you exit the Customs & Immigration area.

Have your passport and any required documents ready for inspection

Biometric screening is used to expedite processing

Global Entry Kiosks and the CBP Mobile Passport Control (MPC) App are available for eligible passengers.

Passengers can download the MPC app before leaving home and then complete the form up to 4 hours prior to landing and arriving at the Gate.

Step 2: Exit & Connections
After clearing Customs, exit through the one-way-doors onto Level 6, where you may recheck your luggage at the airline recheck counters outside the exit doors for the following airlines: Aer Lingus, Aero Mexico, Avianca, Azul, Copa, Discover, Emirates, Icelandair, JetBlue.
After dropping off your bag at the recheck counter, proceed to the Level 2 Security Checkpoint with your boarding pass, then continue to Gates 230-254.
For all other airlines, proceed directly to the airline check-in counter.
Terminal Transfers:
- For connections to Terminals A and B, walk across the Pedestrian Bridge to the Train Station. Take the Terminal Link to Terminals A and B. Proceed to your airline check-in counter.
